Trader Joe's Trader Ming's Kung Pao Chicken Is a Pleasant Surprise, Easy to Cook

Kung Pao Chicken.

Trader Joe's has plenty of good food, and often frozen foods are especially tasty. Trader Ming's Kung Pao Chicken is a remarkable example. There are more chicken dark meat chunks than you would expect, the vegetables are tasty, and the sauce is delicious -- although some people might not want to use both sauce packs. Either way the recipe is not too spicy.

The ensemble is very simple to put together in a non-stick frying pan, and if you're eating the whole bag for yourself, it's fun to taste a few of the chicken chunks just to confirm that they're ready. The bag is supposed to be four servings, but it's more like two servings if you're hungry.

You don't need to cover the frying pan as stated in the instructions, but keep an eye on the frying pan so that the meal doesn't dry out.
